Security Analysis of 3D Printing Web Interfaces
Topic currently blocked, but not definitely assigned.
The 3D printing market is rapidly growing, both in the consumer and the corporate context. The growth in both the industrial- and the consumer market creates an interest in the security of the used software and hardware.
3D printers are often connected to interfaces that allow the user to control them. These interfaces are generally offered (at least in the consumer market) as web interfaces that you access with you browser.
In this thesis, we want to analyze the security of said web interfaces. As this is the second thesis with this topic, a thorough analysis of possible attacks and vulnerabilities as been created in the form of a security catalog. In this thesis, the goal is to evaluate multiple web interfaces against this security catalog.
