Abschlussarbeit: Smart Encryption
The aim of the thesis is to implement an innovative encryption scheme which we call Smart Encryption. In smart encryption one is able to decrypt given ciphertext if a certain smart contract has been fulfilled, e.g. a specified transaction has appeared in the blockchain of a cryptocurrency. As an example, consider the following scenario: The contents of some document will be revealed to any party who had paid 1 coin to a given address within one week. Additionally, the identity of the payer must be verified, for example by having them produce a signature corresponding to the payment public key. This thesis will extend recent development of so called Time-lock encryption, built on the Intel SGX platform.
