To mark the 22nd NRW Computer Science Day, the ‘Computer Science Education in NRW’ (FG IBN) specialist group of the German Informatics Society (GI) (GI) , in cooperation with Paderborn University and the Detmold District Government , to the 22nd NRW Computer Science Day in Paderborn on Monday, 14 September 2026. We are delighted that Minister Feller is once again acting as patron of the NRW Computer Science Day. A varied programme is on offer for computer science teachers at all levels in general and vocational schools, trainee teachers and students, featuring numerous workshops on topics relevant to classroom practice. Exhibitors specialising in school IT and technical and administrative products round off what is on offer. In addition, schools that have been particularly active in the National Computer Science Competition (BWINF) and the ‘Informatik-Biber’ competition will be honoured. Beyond the main programme, there will be plenty of opportunities for participants to exchange experiences with one another.
