When commencing a doctoral project, an application must be made to the Doctoral Examinations Board for an examination of the admission requirements. The opening of a doctoral examination procedure is also requested from the Doctoral Examinations Board. Forms with organisational information can be found as downloads underneath.

Doctoral projects in the field of Computer Engineering can take place at the Institute of Electrical Engineering or the Institute of Computer Science.
