Professor Dr. Gitta Domik-Kienegger elevated to IEEE and ACM Senior Member

Professor Dr. Gitta Domik-Kienegger was elevated to IEEE Senior Member in October 2017, and already in September 2016 to ACM Senior Member. IEEE stands for The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and is the world's largest association of technical professionals with more than 420,000 members in over 160 countries around the world. Less than 8% of its members hold a Senior Membership in recognition of their educational and technical advancements.

ACM stands for The Association for Computing Machinery and is the world’s largest educational and scientific society for the computing professions, with currently over 100,000 members worldwide. The recognition was awarded to Gitta Domik for her contributions in the Special Interest Group ACM SIGGRAPH.
