Subjects with excellent results in the international CWTS Leiden Ranking 2024
The Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) at Leiden University in the Netherlands has once again recognised the publication achievements of researchers at Paderborn University this year. Once again, the subjects of mathematics and computer science performed particularly well. The international university ranking, which has been carried out annually since 2007, compares universities and certain subject classifications on the basis of publications.
In the latest edition of the ranking, the 1,506 universities from 72 countries with the most publications were analysed, including 57 from Germany. How often publications are cited is an indication of the quality of the scientists' work.
