(*) The modules Analysis and Linear Algebra for computer scientists (8 LP each) are omitted.

By deducting the modules "Analysis für Informatiker" and "Lineare Algebra für Informatiker", this minor subject has a scope of 20 credit points. This must be supplemented to 25 credit points with "Studium Generale", i.e. 5 credit points must be completed in "Studium Generale". The module "Stochastik" (6 LP) has to be completed, but can optionally be replaced by the course "Fundamente der Stochastik 1" (5 LP). In this variant, an additional credit point must be earned in the "Studium Generale".

Due to the deduction of modules I.5.1 and I.5.2, this minor subject has a total of 20 or 18 ECTS points, depending on the selection in the 4th-6th semester. This must be supplemented with "Studium Generale" to 25 ECTS points, i.e. 5 or 7 ECTS points of "Studium Generale" must be completed. The module "Stochastik" (6 ECTS) must be completed, but can optionally be replaced by the course "Grundlagen der Stochastik" (7 ECTS). In this variant, one additional ECTS credit is not required in the course "Studium Generale".
