Mentor Program Computer Engineering

Goals and addressees:

The mentoring programme was established to accompany students through their studies from the first semester onwards by a team consisting of one university lecturer and one member of staff (the so-called mentors). On the one hand, such support is intended to give students orientation about university studies in general and about the course and content of computer science studies in particular, as well as to provide concrete help in problem situations. In addition, the personal contact is intended to reduce the students' often existing inhibitions towards professors as early as possible.

Participation in the mentoring programme is obligatory for students in the Bachelor's programme. Participation is recommended for Master's students.
