Scientists develop hybrid model

In order to fully exploit the potential of modern computing systems, Paderborn scientists want to establish a hybrid model: They are combining quantum and supercomputing. The approach is new and offers a number of advantages. Because information processing takes place in parallel, i.e. the tasks are distributed and processed simultaneously, they can be solved more quickly. Parallel structures are available to take care of the individual work packages.
