KanBoard
The IRB provides a Kanboard server for students and employees of the university.
KanBoard is used for process control, issue tracking and project organisation according to the KanBan method and is intended to support agile project management.
Projects are managed and configured via the server's web interface and can be carried out by employees and students themselves. They can log in using the ZIM login. Furthermore, the server has an API and can therefore be automated by you if required.
Important note: In order to give a user access to a project, the user must have already logged in once on the KanBoard server web interface.
Important note: By default, multi-user projects can only be created by employees of the Institute of Computer Science; a corresponding activation is also possible for students on request.
Access for external co-operation partners
Access to the KanBoard server for external project partners is possible. Please apply for a guest account at ZIM for each person who should have access. How to get such a ZIM guest account is documented in the ZIM Wiki. It is not necessary to activate the "IT services for computer scientists". Please also note the information above regarding logging in for the first time.
