We are also happy to be your first point of contact for any other questions regarding IT systems at the university if you do not know who to contact.

IT ser­vices for com­puter sci­ent­ists

To use most services, computer access for computer scientists must be active. This can be applied for in the ServicePortal . Log in there with your IMT account and apply for the IT services for computer scientists under User administration > Other services if they are not yet active. If you apply, please send us a short email explaining why you need access; we will then process your application immediately.

Service level

The IRB strives for 24/7 operation for all services and monitors the function of the services automatically. The IRB's support hours are from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00 (excluding public holidays); fault rectification for disrupted services is initiated immediately during support hours. All data stored via the services operated by the IRB is automatically backed up externally.
