From October this year, new examination regulations will come into force for both the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes. Here you will first find information on the Bachelor's programme; information on the Master's programme will follow shortly. Here you will find a presentation on the new Examination regulations as well as a document in which current - not yet finalised - Status of the transitional arrangementsder is described.
Please use these two documents so that you have the most important information at your disposal. We will be offering further information events during the semester to inform you about the changes. You can also contact us on Discord or visit our livestream on YouTube (see below for address and date) and ask questions there.
It is important to note that you do not have to switch to the new examination regulations, but can continue to study under the old regulations until the summer semester 2028. However, the new regulations offer a number of advantages, so we believe that a change is attractive for many students, especially for all students who are currently in their second or fourth semester. Students in higher semesters, students who are already well advanced in their studies and students who have had many modules recognised following a change of degree programme or university are welcome to contact us for individual advice. Please either make an appointment with us (by email to studienbuero-informatik@uni-paderborn.de) or come to our consultation hours (in Fürstenallee, room F2.119) on Thursdays between 10 and 11 a.m. without an appointment.
Please do not send us any enquiries about the new examination regulations by e-mail at this time, but use one of the options mentioned above.
