KanBoard

The IRB provides a Kanboard Server for students and faculty.

KanBoard enables process controlling and issue tracking according to the KanBan Method of project management.

You can create and manage these projects yourself on the server's web interface, and an API is available for advanced usage and automation. Any user that has an IMT account may log in. Groups and users on the server are fully integrated with the IMT LDAP and we encourage usage of LDAP groups to simplify access control.

Important Notice: Before you can add other users to your project, they will each need to have logged in to the web interface at least once.

Important Notice: Multi-user projects can only be created by CS Department employees by default; please contact us to have this enabled for your account.

Access for External Collaborators

Access to the KanBoard server for external collaborators is possible. Please apply for an IMT Guest Account for each person that requires access. The procedure to do so is documented at the IMT Wiki. Activating "IT-Dieste für Informatiker" (CS Department IT Services) is not necessary. Please be aware of the above notice regarding initial logins.
