Matrix Webchat
The IRB provides a Matrix chat server for students and staff.
Matrix is comparable to Slack, and therefore also has a web-based chat interface. Through the interface it is possible to create groups (called rooms), as well as grouping rooms into larger so-called "spaces".
It is also possible to set personal preferences.
Chat Clients
The following access options are available:
- Web Client (provided by the IRB)
- Mobile App
- Desktop Client
An associated Web Client is officially operated by the IRB.
The login is done via the IRB GitLab Server. This requires the "IT Services of Informatics" in the ServicePortal to be unlocked for use.
